At Sage Path Mental Health, we provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive and patient-centered setting. Our focus is on delivering thoughtful, individualized care that helps patients better understand their mental health needs and achieve greater emotional stability and daily functioning.

We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD using evidence-based psychiatric treatment approaches tailored to each patient’s unique symptoms, history, and goals. Care includes thorough psychiatric assessment, medication management, symptom monitoring, and ongoing treatment planning.

Led by a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Sage Path Mental Health is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in treatment decisions. Our goal is to provide clear guidance and effective treatment that supports long-term mental wellness across every stage of life.

Meet The Owner

Sierra is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the medical field. She earned her undergraduate degree from Towson University, her master’s degree from Georgetown University, and her post-master’s psychiatric certification from Johns Hopkins University.

Her clinical background includes experience in critical care, family medicine, outpatient mental health, and both inpatient and outpatient addiction medicine. Working closely with patients in primary care who were struggling with mental health concerns inspired Sierra to pursue advanced psychiatric training so she could provide more specialized support.

She values building genuine connections with patients and providing thoughtful, individualized care through psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults

Our Services

  • Comprehensive initial assessments designed to understand symptoms, review psychiatric and medical history, clarify diagnosis, and develop an individualized treatment plan. These are offered in person or via telehealth.

  • Ongoing evaluation and management of psychiatric medications to support symptom improvement, monitor effectiveness, and make adjustments as needed.

  • COMING SOON

    We will be offering genetic testing through Genesight to help guide our decisions for medication by understanding how your body interacts with psychotropic medication.

    In office ADHD testing will be soon available to provide a comprehensive assessment of attention, focus, and executive functioning to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning or our clients

  • We provide both in person and virtual appointments. However, if you are on a controlled substance you will need at least one in person visit a year.

  • Yes! We are in network with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon. We plan to further expand on this!

  • Don’t worry! We have cash pay options as well. We can also provide superbills for you to provide to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • Psychiatric Evaluation: $230 (typically one hour appointment)

    Medication Management Follow Up: $150 (typically 30 minute appointment)

    *A sliding scale fee may be provided for qualifying patients

  • Please notify office 24 hours in advance for any cancellation. Less than 24 hour notice will result in a $50 fee.

    No shows will result in full session fee.
